Robert Walters are hiring for a Group Tax Accountant for a leading automotive company.
This is a permanent full-time role based in their office near Bedford but supporting some working from home.
The Group Tax Accountant will work closely with the Head of Finance and will take ownership of al the tax affairs of this business in the region.
This is weighted towards corporate tax work but also includes work on VAT/Indirect tax and employment taxes.
Responsibilities include:
- Tax Advisory
- Tax Compliance
- Tax Reporting
- Tax Business Partnering
- Process improvement
- Tax Projects
The company are looking for a qualified tax accountant or advisor (ACA / CTA / ICAS / ACCA) or someone qualified by experience.
Strong UK corporate tax experience is a must; Any experience in other taxes would be beneficial but is not required.
The role comes with a salary of circa £50,000 - £60,000 plus a great benefits package.
