An exciting opportunity has arisen within a global law firm for an interim tax consultant to join the team on a six month contract in their London office.
As interim tax consultant for this global legal firm, you will be report directly to the Partnership and Tax Accountant. The primary function of the role is to assist the firms international tax advisor in ensuring that the firms global tax compliance function runs smoothly. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assistance in providing tax advice on secondments – of both partners and employees both UK and internationally
- Assistance in coordinating transfer pricing documentation in line with OECD recommendations under base erosion and profit-shifting (BEPS)
- Assistance in managing the firm’s exposure to withholding taxes internationally, and the risk of permanent establishments in the countries with which the firm does business
- Assisting in various ad-hoc advisory projects
The interim tax consultant will hit the ground running and will be at ease with managing tight deadlines and a heavy work load. Ideally, you will come from a professional services background and be a chartered accountant. Prior experience within international corporate tax and its application to partnership tax is highly beneficial. Additionally, as interim tax consultant you will be comfortable with working by yourself as well as working with other team members.
