Position:

Understand and articulate our client's brand strategy and act as a resource to clients.

  • Carry out market research to identify sales opportunities within a defined geographic area. Plan an effective approach tailored to the client’s unique needs, business drivers, and desired outcomes.

  • Identify key decision-makers and meet with potential clients to promote our client's solutions and services.

  • Manage project opportunities through all phases, from initial evaluation and quotation to post-installation follow-up and support.

  • Prepare customer proposals with the support of our client's Bidding department and negotiate agreements.

  • Manage warranty claims and complaints in a timely manner.

  • Act as a brand ambassador, representing our client at key business meetings, tradeshows, and other related events and conferences.

  • Utilise Salesforce (CRM) to manage all sales activity, ensuring that information is up to date and accurate.

  • Collect feedback from current or potential customers and share it with the internal team.

Requirements:

  • Passionate about design with 3-5 years of experience as a business developer/sales manager in the contract furnishings industry or similar.

  • Strong business acumen.

  • Proficient in CRM and project management software tools.

  • Project management skills.

  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills, along with great negotiation skills.

  • Acts ethically and gains the trust and respect of others.

  • Strong priority management skills.

  • Thinks strategically while driving action.

  • Committed to delivering a best-in-class client experience.

  • Capable of building effective working relationships with people from a range of disciplines and backgrounds.
