Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Business Development Manager to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to broaden and deepen the company's reach across the UK financial adviser channel. The successful candidate will be responsible for building relationships, adding value to adviser businesses, and winning and retaining profitable business within their allocated panel.

What you'll do:

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering the Distribution strategy, focusing on broadening and deepening our reach across the UK financial adviser channel. You will champion our client's propositions, developing strong consultative-led business relationships with the external intermediary market. Your ability to identify and secure new business opportunities will be crucial in achieving new business and retention targets.

  • Champion the company's propositions, representing Distribution in front of both internal and external customers
  • Develop strong consultative led business relationships with the external intermediary market
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities
  • Achieve new business and retention targets and seek to achieve targeted growth on all products
  • Become a trusted partner to your panel by adding value and improving outcomes
  • Develop and maintain high level relationships with key stakeholders to deliver growth and profit using both face-to-face and virtual appointments

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Business Development Manager role brings a wealth of experience from previous roles within Financial Services. You possess advanced knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices. Your excellent verbal communication skills enable you to establish rapport quickly over the phone or via video conferencing. Your exceptional written communication skills allow you to effectively interact with customers and stakeholders. Your good technical knowledge of financial services market solutions will be invaluable in this role.

  • Strong understanding of the competitive landscape within Financial Services and Pensions
  • Advanced knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices
  • Proven experience within a Business Development role with a demonstrable track record in Financial Services or Financial advisory background
