What You Will Be Doing:

  • Leading bid processes and taking responsibility for engaging the right level of involvement from sales, solutions, commercials and other SMEs
  • Governing sales involvement in tender processes and ensuring adherence of all parties to agreed roles and responsibilities
  • Taking ultimate responsibility for complex/global deals and managing the bid through to completion
  • Actively contributing to the solution design of the bid and challenging/validating decisions against the client brief
  • Producing high quality written responses to client questions, based on in-depth knowledge of our own business
  • Engaging with all areas of our operational business including stakeholders ranging from MDs, Operations, Account and Client Services Directors through to Managers and Account Leaders globally
  • Accurately representing the company / opportunity value pop, as agreed with the sales lead, in line with specific client requirements and in the knowledge of our competitor proposition
  • Supporting and / or managing junior team members in their day-to-day activities, enabling them to develop and learn
  • Displaying gravitas and a calm demeanour when communicating with colleagues of all levels
  • Using a range of innovative solutions and services to devise a compelling propositions to meet client requirements
  • Maintaining a sound understanding of the operational environment with extensive product knowledge
  • Managing all outputs and submissions in line with brand guidelines and required formatting
  • Actively contributing to the best practice of bid and content management across the business by updating and maintaining the centralised knowledge and information excellence portal
  • Developing unique and creative approaches to communicating bid solutions across document formats and technology, finding new ways to express concepts with excellent graphic representations
  • Supporting the central management team stakeholders with expert business knowledge across all service and solution elements.

Who You Are:

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Exceptional time management and organisation skills
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work with targets and deliver against tight deadlines
  • High self- motivation and drive for success
  • Ability to work independently in an agile environment as well as collaborate as part of a team
  • Deep understanding of the recruitment industry, in addition to Japan’s current market conditions
  • 1-2 years’ work experience (preferred), sales/recruitment experience (highly preferred)
