Our client within civil engineering / manufacturing is seeking a dedicated Business Development Manager to join their team. This home-based role offers an attractive salary of £50,000, 9% bonus and a £550 car allowance. The successful candidate will be key in promoting products and vision to employers, building enduring relationships with stakeholders across the UK. This role is pivotal to success and growth objectives, leading a small team to drive revenue and expansion.

What you'll do:

An autonomous role where successful candidate can shape and mould as they see fit to develop the best possible outcomes.

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in promoting our client's products and through market routes. You will be responsible for growing sustainable commercial revenue streams, achieving and exceeding sales targets, and building partnerships with strategic customers. Your ability to identify key decision makers, focus communication strategies, and act as a subject matter expert will be essential for success in this role.

* Develop targeted strategic plans and processes to drive organisation sales

* Manage the sales pipeline and identify potential opportunities & partnerships

* Utilise CRM Sales dashboard to track and report on sales performance against targets

* Manage the Business Development and Customer Sales Teams to ensure delivery of sales targets and KPIs

* Develop strong relationships with Key Customer Accounts, identifying their evolving needs and providing solutions

* Represent the organisation at a range of external meetings and events

What you bring:

The ideal Business Development Manager will bring a wealth of experience in winning business and increasing account value through effective management of sales ideally within civil engineering / manufacturing and demonstrate exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Your ability to identify key companies and structures to identify decision makers will be crucial for your success in this role.

* Proven track record of winning business and increasing account value through management of sales

* Ideally knowledge of civil engineering / manufacturing.

* Experience of dealing with clients of varying turnovers from £10million and above.

* Experience of Strategic and Key Account Customer relationship management in a business development or sales leadership role

* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

* Strong technical understanding with working knowledge of Sales tools

* Ability to navigate corporate structures to identify decision makers
