What you'll do:
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our client's growth strategy. You will take ownership for forecasting New Product Introduction (NPI) into their commercial strategy, contributing to marketing strategies that drive awareness of NPI among relevant customer groups. Your role will involve developing and securing new customer or distributor acquisition targets, determining strategies to develop profitable sales, and maximising the benefits of the NPI portfolio. You will also liaise with distributors/customers, helping them select NPI based on commercial and technical aspects while maintaining mutually beneficial working relationships.

* Ownership for the forecast of New Product Introduction (NPI) into the short, medium and long-term Commercial strategy of the business
* Accountable for understanding critical market and customer insights to support the build-up and commercialisation of NPI developed by the business
* Contributor to the Marketing Strategy that drives awareness of NPI in the relevant customer group
* To develop and secure new customer or distributor acquisition targets
* To determine, in conjunction with the distributor(s), the best strategy to develop profitable sales and maximise the benefits of the NPI portfolio and the brand and service
* To liaise, negotiate and help distributors/customers with the selection of NPI based upon commercial and technical aspects
* To develop and maintain mutually beneficial working relationships with distributors/customers


What you bring:
The ideal Business Development Manager will bring a high-achieving career in business development, with a proven ability to exceed revenue and margin targets. You will be imaginative, capable of driving sustainable cash generative sales for NPI products, and able to communicate professionally while developing strategic relationships within a client base. Your commercial intelligence, curiosity, and progressive mindset will be key assets in this role. Experience in strategic, solution-based sales in a technically led industry is essential, as is the demonstrated ability to find and lead process changes that benefit business progress and growth.

* High-achieving Business Development career with demonstrable ability to hit and exceed revenue and margin targets
* Imaginative and capable of driving sustainable cash generative sales for NPI products
* Able to communicate professionally and develop strategic relationships within a client base
* Commercially intelligent, curious and progressive
* Experience of strategic, solution-based sales in a technically led industry (12-18 month) sales cycle
* Demonstrated ability to find and lead process changes that are quantifiable, impactful and benefit business progress and growth
