In the role of Membership and Growth Manager, you will become an integral part of a dynamic team, working closely with the Director and other team members to develop and expand our member base of technology startups and scaleups. These innovative companies span various industries, including fintech, cyber security, green tech, blockchain, AI, life sciences, and more. As the Membership and Growth Manager, you will lead membership sales and on-boarding, identify and develop partnerships to drive membership sales, and assess other business growth opportunities. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the growth and success of their vibrant community. PLEASE NOTE: This role will cover staff absence for a year but there is an option to extend/make permanent.

The Role:

• Identify potential members and create engaging campaigns to integrate them into the ecosystem.
• Represent the brand at industry events, promoting their image and fostering business development.
• Meet with potential members, understand their needs, and highlight the benefits of joining the community.
• Cultivate relationships with existing members and introduce relevant membership upgrades.
• Manage member and prospect data, tracking growth using the CRM system, HubSpot.
• Oversee efficient member on-boarding, including licencing and team orientation.
• Foster relationships within the network, connecting mentors, investors, and service providers with the team and community.
• Generate monthly membership sales reports.
• Work with theMarketing Manager to create marketing strategies and partner events that enhance membership retention and sales.

Requirements:

• Proven experience and knowledge in working with technology startups.
• A natural people-person with a knack for building beneficial business relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to cultivate relationships with various stakeholders to facilitate the achievement of business objectives.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage at all organizational levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving prowess, capable of identifying business issues, proposing solutions, and making commercial decisions.
• A creative and open-minded thinker, constantly staying updated with new industry developments and leveraging technology innovations.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage projects/tasks from inception to completion.
• Willingness to work flexibly and attend events outside of regular working hours when necessary.
