An excellent opportunity is available with a consulting firm based in Cardiff and due to significant success and growth they are wanting to build their business across the midlands. They are looking for a successful, strategic Business Development Manager with a proven track record. The role will be cover the wider Midlands region, with occasional visits to the head office in Cardiff.
Having brought together experts from Business, Accountancy, Banking and Financial areas they provide advice, mentoring and funding to companies and entrepreneurs on their journeys to become invested/ invest.
Hunting/ Sourcing New Business
Conducting Business reviews and understanding clients needs
Seek and attend networking opportunities and events, promote the business’ profile
Work comfortably with SME’S and key influencers at all levels
Confidently pitch, present, demonstrate and deliver sales actions and solutions
Emphasise the service, quote prices and prepare sales reports/ orders fluently
Cold call, email and follow up to develop business
Demonstrate constant progress
The Business Development Manager will have B2B experience, and have an excellent network of contacts, will be self-motivated and have the ability to communicate confidently at a senior level. You will understand the financial industry well, and have experience working with SME’s and understand business plans and strategies. As you will be selling professional services you must be able to communicate the brand identity well, and present and demonstrate confidently and act proactively. You will ideally be located around the Birmingham area and ideally be a car owner as you will be responsible for attending regular client meetings with new and existing customers.
