Our client is seeking a Business Continuity Risk Senior Manager to join their team in London. This role offers an exciting opportunity to enhance and maintain the company's Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework, ensuring resilience against potential disruptions.

What you'll do:

As a Business Continuity Risk Senior Manager, your role will be instrumental in ensuring the company's resilience. You will identify potential risks, conduct impact analyses, and coordinate with various departments to create continuity and recovery strategies. Your responsibilities will also include leading training and awareness programmes, conducting regular testing and drills, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

  • Enhance and maintain the company's business continuity framework
  • Coordinate business impact analysis processes and risk assessments
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop robust strategies
  • Organise and lead business continuity exercises and drills
  • Support crisis management efforts ensuring a rapid response to operational disruptions
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on the status of business continuity initiatives

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Business Continuity Risk Senior Manager position will bring proven experience in business continuity planning and risk management. You should have experience working in a regulated environment, preferably within Investment Banking. A professional certification in Business Continuity Management would be advantageous. Your strong analytical skills coupled with excellent communication abilities will enable you to effectively manage risks and prepare for unforeseen events.

  • Proven experience in business continuity planning and risk management
  • Experience of working in a regulated environment, ideally Investment Banking
  • Professional certification in Business Continuity Management is preferred
  • Understanding of the PRA/FCA rules, regulations and industry best practices
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication abilities
