Our client, Vanguard Asset Management, is seeking a Senior Specialist in Third Party Risk Management to join their team in Manchester. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage relationships with UKPI third party vendors and maintain strong internal control frameworks for vendor performance, cost management, risk assessments, and service governance. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring vendor service arrangements meet regulatory and enterprise standards.

What you'll do:
As a Senior Specialist in Third Party Risk Management at Vanguard Asset Management, you will play a crucial role in managing relationships with UKPI third party vendors. You will be responsible for maintaining strong internal control frameworks for vendor performance, cost management, risk assessments, and service governance. Your role will involve partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure vendor service arrangements meet regulatory and enterprise standards. You will lead in the monitoring, reporting, and development of control and oversight strategies. Additionally, you will coordinate and support the development and execution of Third-Party assessments. Your keen eye for detail will be essential as you evaluate financial data to ensure Vanguard obtains the highest value and expected returns on investment.

• Manage relationships with UKPI third party vendors, primarily those performing outsourced operations.
• Maintain strong internal control frameworks for vendor performance, cost management, risk assessments, and service governance.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure vendor service arrangements meet regulatory and enterprise standards.
• Lead in the monitoring, reporting, and development of control and oversight strategies.
• Coordinate and support the development and execution of Third-Party assessments.
• Evaluate financial data to ensure Vanguard obtains the highest value and expected returns on investment.

What youll bring:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Specialist in Third Party Risk Management role at Vanguard Asset Management brings a minimum of five years related work experience. You have a strong understanding of operations, applicable regulations, and law related to retail investing. Your undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience has equipped you with the skills necessary to excel in this role. You are adept at building strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Your experience includes developing, implementing, and maintaining vendor performance dashboards, management reports, and executive summaries. Lastly, your knowledge of risk and control topics sets you apart from others.

• Three - five years related work experience.
• Strong understanding of operations, and applicable regulations and law related to retail investing.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Ability to build strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining vendor performance dashboards, management reports and executive summaries.
• Knowledge of risk and control topics.
