Enterprise Risk Manager - International Law Firm

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Risk Manager to join their team in London. Key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement new Enterprise Risk Management Frameworks, including necessary policies and procedures.
• Select and maintain appropriate reporting tools.
• Identify, assess, and monitor risks across the organisation in line with the ERM Framework.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to integrate risk management practices into business processes.
• Assist with the preparation of risk assessments across the business where required.
• Provide guidance on risk mitigation strategies and recommend improvements to internal controls.
• Coordinate with external auditors, regulators, and other third parties on matters related to enterprise risk management.
• Contribute to an effective risk culture at the firm.
• Audit and review the ERM Framework regularly to ensure its effectiveness.
• Report to management on risks affecting the business and how they are being addressed.

Skills required:

• Bachelor's degree in business, risk or finance or other related area.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in enterprise risk management within a professional services or corporate environment delivering successful risk management outcomes.
• Good experience of risk management frameworks and processes.
• Strong knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and tools.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify potential risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Effective communication skills both written and verbal; capable of presenting complex information clearly to various stakeholders.
• Ability to lead and deliver change within areas of responsibility.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with risk management software is advantageous
