Director, Head of Quality Assurance, Credit Strategy
Our client is seeking a Director for their Quality Assurance, Credit Strategy department. What you'll do:
As the Director, Head of Quality Assurance, Credit Strategy, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the credit strategy of the organisation. Your primary responsibilities will include performing quality assurance over 2LOD credit decisioning using a risk-based approach across CIB and FIG to ensure portfolio coverage of EMEA sanctioning. You will also manage inbound and split location transactions falling under the EMEA Booking Office Committee (EBOC). Additionally, you will lead 'Lessons Learnt' exercises including Breach Control Working Group (BCWG) reporting as required.
- Performing Quality Assurance over 2LOD Credit decisioning using a risk-based approach
- Managing inbound and split location transactions falling under the EMEA Booking Office Committee (EBOC)
- Leading 'Lessons Learnt' exercises including Breach Control Working Group (BCWG) reporting
- Monitoring of business line KPIs including application submission deadlines
- Establishing, embedding and facilitating the Quality Assurance framework
- Reviewing EBOC transactions, preparing a risk comment highlighting the key risks within the EBOC paper
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Director, Head of Quality Assurance, Credit Strategy role brings extensive experience from financial institutions where they have performed credit analysis. A background in corporate banking or structured finance would be highly beneficial. The ability to exercise personal delegated authority is crucial for this role. Experience in setting and applying credit risk strategy within a broader business strategy is essential. Proven experience in investment banking in either credit or front office roles is also desirable.
