Hedge Fund and Private Equity Credit analyst

An opportunity has emerged for a committed and knowledgeable Hedge Fund Credit Risk Analyst to become part of a prestigious global financial services group. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team tasked with analysing counterparties, assigning ratings, and approving flow and structured transactions. What you'll do:

As a Hedge Fund Credit Risk Analyst, your role will be crucial in managing risk exposure arising from credit and equity Prime Brokerage, as well as from trading of OTC derivatives and securities financing. You will perform detailed due diligence on Hedge Fund and Private Equity clients, negotiate credit terms in legal documentation, approve internal counterparty ratings and limits under delegated authority, review and approve trade requests. Your contribution to the firm’s Risk Change agenda will be significant, as will your engagement in regulatory and audit assessments.

You possess product knowledge of all major derivative instruments and Prime Brokerage products/services, along with an understanding of master trading documentation. Your detailed understanding of the credit risk framework sets you apart, as does your analytical mindset with problem-solving ability. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role.
