Assistant Vice President - Financial Crime & CDD Specialist

An excellent opportunity has arisen with a leading international banking group who are seeking a talented Assistant Vice President to strengthen Customer Lifecycle Management (CLM) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) processes across EMEA.

As an AML & Financial Crime Assistant Vice President, you will play a critical role in strengthening CLM and CDD processes, ensuring compliance, and delivering actionable insights across the organisation. You will act as a subject matter expert for core banking systems, support technology and compliance integration, and contribute to key projects, including the deployment of new cloud-based CDD platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and enhance client due diligence processes, onboarding logic, and risk scoring methodologies.
  • Maintain and update documentation and user guides for core banking platforms.
  • Lead business analysis efforts for CLM/CDD projects, balancing BAU responsibilities with transformation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders and technology teams to implement system enhancements and operational improvements.
  • Monitor and report on process effectiveness and key risk indicators through MI and dashboards.
