A distinguished organisation located in Leicestershire is seeking to appoint a Customs Compliance Specialist to its esteemed team.

The successful Customs Compliance Specialist will oversee global trade compliance, ensuring adherence to international regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, refine processes, and provide expert guidance on import/export activities. From preparing audit reports to assessing economic risks, your work will shape resilient trading strategies for the business.
Key responsibilities:
  • Manage daily customs compliance operations and resolve issues efficiently
  • Advise stakeholders on regulations and best practices for global trade
  • Develop and enhance standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Monitor market trends and regulatory changes to mitigate risks
  • Prepare detailed reports for audits and ensure accurate documentation
What you bring:
  • Proven experience in international trade compliance or related fields
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in reporting and data analysis
  • Background in manufacturing or logistics environments is advantageous
  • Level 3 Certificate in Customs Compliance or similar qualifications preferred
