Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Compliance - Consumer Finance professional to join their team. This role is integral to the company's mission of ensuring all customers receive the right outcome from their financial services provider. As part of the Compliance and Insight team, you will play a pivotal role in monitoring firms' compliance with standards and codes, supporting firms through insight activity, and contributing to the positive impact on customer outcomes.

What you'll do:

As a Compliance - Consumer Finance professional, your role will be multifaceted. You will be instrumental in supporting the delivery of our client's Insight strategy, providing valuable guidance to firms regarding the interpretation and application of Standards/Codes. Your excellent networking skills will be put to good use as you engage with firms and stakeholders, raising both the profile and impact of our client. Additionally, you will support the implementation of their annual target market and onboarding strategy, conducting due diligence of new registrant firms.

  • Support the delivery of the company's Insight strategy
  • Provide guidance to firms in relation to the interpretation and application of Standards/Codes
  • Raise the profile of the company and its research outputs
  • Engage with firms and stakeholders to raise the profile and impact of the company
  • Support the implementation of the company's annual target market and onboarding strategy
  • Conduct due diligence of new registrant firms

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Compliance - Consumer Finance role brings a wealth of experience from a compliance, risk or audit background within the UK retail or SME financial services industry. Your understanding of the credit regulatory landscape will be invaluable in this role. You are a confident networker, adept at building relationships and alliances. Your first-class presentation skills enable you to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. You have a knack for linking 'regulatory language' with operational delivery in an engaging way. Your strong interpersonal skills make you effective at engaging with senior personnel.

  • Experience in a compliance, risk or audit role within UK retail or SME financial services industry
  • Understanding of credit regulatory landscape
  • Confident networker with experience building relationships and alliances
  • First-class presentation skills (oral and written)
  • Ability to link 'regulatory language' with operational delivery in an engaging way
