Our client is seeking an experienced Head of Compliance to join their in-house legal team based in London. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with various departments and partners across the firm, ensuring high-quality governance and compliance systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the compliance team to ensure high-quality governance and compliance systems
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of regulatory compliance systems
  • Monitor regulatory developments and advise on compliance strategies
  • Act as Data Protection Officer, liaising with ICO and managing enquiries
  • Manage new client due diligence in accordance with internal policy and KYC procedures
  • Manage internal compliance audits and liaise with regulatory bodies
  • Advise on potential compliance issues linked to future business opportunities

Key Skills:

  • Proven track record in a growing professional services consultancy
  • Detailed knowledge of ethics, data protection, competition, anti-bribery, regulatory and financial compliance
  • Excellent report writing and organisational skills
  • Ability to clearly articulate complex issues
