A dynamic, multi-strat hedge fund in the heart of Mayfair is building out their compliance team. You will be reporting into the Head of Compliance and supporting across all compliance matters. Team culture is very important for this firm as is ambition and a desire to learn and develop. They are typically in the office 4 days/week.

Key responsibilities:

• The role will cover the compliance monitoring & testing programfortheEMEA region covering:
  • Daily position disclosures (long / short / takeover panel).
  • Transaction Reporting daily monitoring and quarterly reconciliation.
  • FCA & DFSA regulatory filing support.
  • SMCR certification for joiners / leavers, and annual refresh.
  • Insider dealing monitoring and surveillance.

• This role will additionally require the provision of compliance advisory support for theEMEA region covering:
  • Wall crossing and restricted / watchlist management
  • Compliance desk support for EMEA based traders and portfolio managers
  • Code of Ethics advice

• As part of global compliance team, the role will require an understanding of the global compliance monitoring programs and some involvement in:
  • Surveillance (trade errors, allocations, cross trades, email & telephone).
  • Best execution monitoring.
  • Proxy Voting.

• Supporting the Head of Europe compliance and Global compliance teams in various compliance project-based work including assisting with training programs.

Key requirements:

• 3 years of experience (buy side or proprietary preferred but not essential) or more.
• IT Skills to include data manipulation in Excel or similar.
• Some Bloomberg terminal or Order Management System experience desired.
