Manager - Finance Transformation (Banking) - Consultancy

A leading global professional services firm is seeking a highly motivated Finance Transformation Manager for their Banking & Financial Services Finance Transformation team in London. To excel as a Manager of Finance Transformation you will bring substantial hands-on experience gained from working within complex finance environments in Banking organisations—or through direct client-facing roles. Your background should include successfully managing multifaceted improvement projects that have enhanced operational efficiency across core financial processes. Familiarity with major ERP platforms is essential as you will be expected to navigate systems landscapes confidently while driving process optimisation initiatives.

Key experience required;

• Extensive experience working within finance functions of leading Banks or Insurance firms.
• Demonstrated ability to manage finance improvement projects within high-performing finance functions using structured methodologies.
• Comprehensive understanding of core finance processes such as record to report, procure to pay, order to cash, projects accounting along with their interdependencies with other business processes.
• Hands-on experience with one or more major ERP technologies including Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle or WorkDay.
• Deep knowledge of finance function operating models encompassing systems architecture, data management practices, process optimisation strategies, controls implementation and governance frameworks.
• Proven capability in shaping deliverables that meet specific client outcomes while articulating challenges facing modern finance functions including emerging technologies.
• Experience implementing large-scale finance change programmes supported by relevant professional qualifications such as ACA, CIMA, ACCA or CIPFA.
