Our client, a leading insurer and reinsurer, and part of the global top 10 insurance group MS&AD, require a seasoned Senior Project Manager to join their thriving team in London.
The successful candidate will oversee the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, control, and closure of a project. You will be responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, managing resources, and ensuring projects deliver the desired results on time and within budget.
Key objectives include managing risks, resolving issues, and implementing changes effectively when necessary to meet project outputs. The Project Manager serves as the key point of contact for stakeholders, maintaining communication and reporting progress throughout the project lifecycle.
Ultimately, the purpose of this role is to ensure the successful completion of projects that contribute to the overall strategic objectives and growth of the organisation.

• Leadership: Ability to lead and manage a team, providing direction and motivation, and adhering to project methodologies and guideline principles
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey project details and expectations
• Organizational Skills: Highly organized to manage time, budget, and resources effectively
• Problem Solving: Adept at identifying and solving potential challenges or obstacles that may arise during a project
• Critical Thinking: Ability to analyse situations and make decisions that are in the best interest of the project
• Risk Management: Ability to identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate these risks
• Negotiation and conflict resolution: Ability to negotiate resources, budget and timelines with stakeholders, also resolving conflicts between team members or other stakeholders
• Project Management Skills: Understanding and applying project management principles and tools
• Adaptability: Projects can change rapidly, so must be flexible and adaptable.
• Ability to work under pressure: Managing a project can be a high-stress job, so must be able to handle the pressure and make decisions confidently.
Essential Criteria:
• At least 5 years of experience in project management
• Experience of working with London Market (Lloyd’s) – processes, market bodies and managing agents and specifically delegated authority and bordereaux management
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an advantage
• Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
