Vice President - Data & Analytics Transformation

A leading Global Investment Bank is seeking a Vice President to join its Data & Analytics Transformation team in London on a permanent basis. Working 3 days a week in their vibrant London City office, this role offers a unique chance to shape and execute the bank’s data strategy, drive transformational change, and enhance the company's data culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement the firm's data strategy and federated data management framework.
  • Drive change through advanced data capabilities and enterprise tools.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to integrate and upgrade the data management framework.
  • Assess and implement new Cloud technologies.
  • Prepare and maintain project and data management documentation.

Skillset and Experience:

  • Expertise in data literacy including metadata management, data governance, and core data roles.
  • Proven experience in Capital Markets with deep knowledge of functions, products, and regulations.
  • Proficiency with Cloud-based big data frameworks, including data lakes, relational, Graph, and No-SQL databases.
  • Experience with AI and ML technologies.
  • Strong risk and control mindset with direct experience in Cloud, Data, or Technology controls.
  • Proven skills in business process design, technical writing, and project management.
  • Consultancy experience in banking is highly desirable.
