Programme Manager – Investment Management
We are seeking a Programme Manager to join the Business Change team at a global investment management firm. The ideal role holder will have asset management experience and strong programme delivery experience across complex, multi-workstream initiatives.
The role sits within a central change programme and is responsible for driving successful delivery of complex business and technology change initiatives across multiple workstreams. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party providers to ensure smooth implementation, strong governance, and measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate multiple business and technology workstreams within a complex change programme
- Ensure strong governance, delivery standards, and alignment to business strategy and operating model
- Partner with business and IT stakeholders to deliver agreed outcomes and manage change impacts
- Drive Agile ways of working (e.g. Scrum / SAFe) and ensure consistent delivery practices
- Oversee planning, budgeting, reporting, risk, and change control across the programme
- Ensure benefits realisation and successful transition into business-as-usual
- Manage collaboration across internal teams and external partners
Key Experience Required:
- Background in investment management or asset management
- Strong programme and project delivery experience with a demonstrable track record of successfully delivering complex change programmes
- Proven ability to hold teams and stakeholders accountable for delivery outcomes and drive progress across multiple workstreams
- Effective stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior business and technology partners
- Experience with Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum, SAFe) and structured frameworks (e.g. PRINCE2)
- Experience managing programme governance, reporting, budgeting, and delivery controls across complex initiatives
- Understanding of trading, portfolio, or investment platforms (e.g. order management, compliance, data integration, reporting)
This role requires a Programme Manager with a demonstrable track record of delivering complex programmes in financial services, with the ability to drive accountability across teams and engage effectively with senior stakeholders to deliver outcomes across multiple workstreams.
