Finance Transformation Lead - Technology

A leading global investment bank is seeking a Finance Technology Project Lead to drive strategic finance technology initiatives and lead a high-performing team. You will manage on-shore and off-shore technologists supporting long-term programmes across the Finance portfolio, including accounting, General Ledger, and financial reporting across multiple regions.

What you'll do

• Lead and mentor a team of 10-20 technologists, fostering collaboration, skill development, and high performance.
• Drive complex finance technology projects covering GL, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Fixed Assets, Financial Control, Tax, Financial Planning, Procurement, ESG, and regulatory reporting.
• Define and maintain the finance technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with business priorities, risk mitigation, and compliance standards.
• Translate complex finance requirements into actionable technical solutions and collaborate with senior stakeholders and third-party vendors.
• Oversee solution design, data integrity, control frameworks, testing, and operational readiness.

Skillset & Requirements

• Proven experience leading and managing cross-functional technical teams, including on-shore and off-shore resources.
• 8+ years in IT project delivery within Financial Services, with at least 4 years focused on Finance or Accounting Technology.
• Strong knowledge of core accounting systems such as Oracle Fusion, SAP, or Workday, and General Ledger platforms.
• Hands-on experience with system integrations, data warehousing, middleware, ETL, databases, scheduling tools, and cloud solutions.
• Deep understanding of finance operations, including P&L, balance sheet, month-end close, reconciliations, and regulatory reporting.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills across global teams.
