Strategic Planning & Insights Lead - Reinsurer London | Hybrid

Overview

We’re supporting a purpose-driven organisation operating at the intersection of financial services, public policy and insurance to appoint a Strategic Planning & Insights Lead.

This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys intellectually rigorous work, thrives in ambiguity, and wants to shape long-term direction in a complex, highly regulated environment. You’ll work closely with senior leadership and play a central role in guiding organisational strategy through a changing market and policy landscape.

The role

• Support senior leadership and the CEO on core strategic initiatives

• Contribute to the development and ongoing evolution of organisational strategy

• Connect insights across teams and lead cross-functional strategic programmes

• Anticipate and assess risks and opportunities arising from market, regulatory and policy change

• Advise on strategic communications and external positioning

• Support engagement with key external stakeholders and public-sector bodies

• Represent the organisation at relevant external forums and events

What we’re looking for

• Extensive experience in strategy consulting or an in-house strategy role

• Strong strategic problem-solving and analytical capability

• Ability to synthesise complex financial, regulatory or policy-driven material

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Experience operating in regulated or policy-adjacent environments

• Strong stakeholder management and delivery skills

• Self-starter with intellectual curiosity and sound judgement
