Senior Business Analyst - Securities Settlements

A global investment bank is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong settlements experience to join their London Operations team on an initial 6-mont contract. Working across Front Office, Operations, Technology, and external counterparties, you will analyse and enhance end-to-end settlement processes across multiple asset classes, driving improvements in efficiency, control and scalability.

Key responsibilities:

• Review and assess existing post-trade and settlement processes across securities
• Work with stakeholders to gather, challenge, and define business requirements
• Identify process inefficiencies, control gaps, and opportunities to improve STP
• Support the design and implementation of operational and system improvements
• Collaborate with Technology to ensure requirements are translated effectively
• Contribute to testing phases including UAT and business validation
• Engage with stakeholders across Front Office, Operations, and external parties

Skillset & Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within post-trade / settlements environments
• Strong knowledge of securities settlements
• Exposure to derivatives products
• Experience working on change or transformation initiatives
• Good understanding of end-to-end trade lifecycle and associated risks
• Confident stakeholder engagement across business and technology teams
