Data Business Analyst (ServiceNow)

Data Business Analyst - ServiceNow (Contract) Tier 1 Investment Bank | Glasgow | Hybrid (3 days onsite) 12-month contract

We’re hiring a Data Business Analyst to join a global financial services organisation within a large Enterprise Technology function. The role focuses on data requirements, data architecture alignment and ServiceNow CMDB/AMDB, working across multiple technology teams in a complex environment.

Key responsibilities:
• Gather and track data and configuration requirements across IT functions
• Work with data architects to define and validate technical solutions
• Analyse data discrepancies and perform data lineage analysis
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders
• Produce and maintain data artefacts and documentation
• Support delivery across multiple projects and programmes

Key experience required:
• Extensive experience as a Data Business Analyst
• Strong SQL and relational database experience
• Hands-on ServiceNow experience (CMDB / AMDB)
• Data architecture and data lineage exposure
• ITSM / ITIL and asset management knowledge
• Strong stakeholder and communication skills
