Business Analyst - TOM - Pensions - 6 month Inside IR35

An exciting opportunity with a Global Financial Services firm is seeking a Business Analyst to join its London-based Transformation team. You will be integral to a significant transformation initiative, assisting in the definition and documentation of a strategic Target Operating Model designed to enhance operational efficiency. Extensive experience with process mapping and process improvement would be advantageous.

As a Business Analyst within this esteemed Transformation team based in London, you will play a central role in advancing strategic change across the UK business. Your daily responsibilities will encompass rigorous data analysis that informs the development of a new Target Operating Model alongside the creation of comprehensive documentation supporting every facet of this transformation. You will engage constructively with stakeholders from diverse departments—translating complex information into actionable insights—and contribute significantly to embedding change throughout the organisation. By adopting a holistic perspective on people, processes, and structures when evaluating requirements, you will discern opportunities for improvement that yield measurable commercial benefits.

Key experience required;

• Demonstrated expertise in business process analysis with a proven ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable recommendations for operational refinement.
• Extensive experience in data analysis within occupational pensions or related industries enabling you to appreciate sector-specific challenges and prospects.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills allowing you to articulate findings clearly to both technical specialists and non-technical audiences while fostering trust among stakeholders.
• Proficiency in preparing business requirements documentation, process flows, governance frameworks, and technical specifications with scrupulous attention to detail.
• A history of successfully embedding change initiatives within organisations—including demonstrable evidence of benefit realisation through enhanced outcomes or efficiencies.
• Capability to map products and services comprehensively for both internal operations and external client offerings.
