Senior Business Analyst - Capital Reg Reporting - 12m Contract

🚀 Regulatory Business Analyst - 12-month contract | London A leading global financial institution is seeking a Regulatory Business Analyst Manager to drive key regulatory change programmes (Basel 3.1, CRD6) within their finance function.

You’ll collaborate across Finance, IT, and Regulatory Reporting teams to enhance processes, improve controls, and deliver compliant solutions in a high-performing environment.

🔹 12-month contract (likely extension or permanent opportunity)
🔹 Hybrid model – 4 days onsite (City of London)
🔹 Work on major regulatory initiatives across capital, leverage, and large exposures

Ideal profile:

• Extensive finance experience within a bank or financial institution

• Proven track record delivering large-scale regulatory or compliance programmes.

• Strong understanding of Basel III, UK Basel 3.1, CRD V/VI, CRR, IFR.

• Hands-on experience with regulatory reporting tools and environments (Axiom preferred).

• Strong Excel and Access database capabilities; VBA or other coding exposure highly desirable.

• Knowledge of Capital Markets products (cash securities, repos, derivatives).

• Understanding of controls, governance, and risk management frameworks.

• Finance qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, CFA) or Accounting/Finance degree highly advantageous.
