Transport Coordinator (NIGHTS) The role: We are recruiting a Transport Coordinator, for a leading 3PL in the UK. You will join a business with a great culture, where you will quickly become a part of the team and be able to contribute towards a successful operation. The shift is from 6-6 with 4 days on 4 days off.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for briefing and debriefing all drivers. Identifying opportunities for improvement and implemented through driver performance systems (PMS).
- Promote and embody the companies safety culture using STAR cards and conduct safety sweeps, fully supporting accident / incident investigations.
- Maintaining the site Run folder.
- Following breakdown management and recovery procedures.
- Drive operational excellence opportunities.
- Trailer checks including temperature and carry out regular audits.
- Ownership of the site fuel master key and track all usage.
Skills & Experience
- Relevant experience in a similar role is desirable.
- Work well in a team and individually.
- Managing deadlines well and good at prioritising work.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Displays an excellent attitude towards work.
