S&OP Manager

A rapidly expanding FMCG business based in South Manchester are looking for an S&OP Manager to take ownership of demand planning, inventory optimisation, and end-to-end supply chain coordination. This pivotal role ensures product availability while balancing cost, service levels, and operational efficiency. You’ll collaborate closely with sales, operations, and procurement teams to align forecasts with supply capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts, leading a team of three direct reports.
  • Drive the S&OP process and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
  • Monitor KPIs and deliver insightful reports to support decision-making.
  • Shape and implement demand and supply chain strategies aligned with business growth.
  • Support the successful rollout of a WMS
  • Manage supplier relationships and collaborate with buying, operations, and sales teams to ensure seamless delivery.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven expertise in demand planning and supply chain management.
  • Track record of leading change within supply chain operations.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with WMS and ERP systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
