Launch Your Supply Chain Career With a Dynamic, Forward-Thinking Organisation

Are you an ambitious graduate ready to start a career where your work has a real, tangible impact? This supply chain opportunity offers hands-on experience across planning, logistics, forecasting, and inventory management—giving you the foundation to grow into a trusted supply chain professional.

Based in Manchester, you’ll join a company known for developing early-career talent. With structured training, supportive leadership, and exposure to multiple functions, you’ll be empowered to learn quickly and contribute meaningfully from day one.

What We Offer

  • £30,000–£35,000 starting salary, with clear progression routes
  • Rotational exposure across planning, logistics, operations and procurement
  • A collaborative, inclusive environment with experienced mentors
  • Flexible working options to support a healthy work-life balance
  • Access to professional development and supply chain qualifications (CIPS, APICS)

What You’ll Do

As a Graduate Supply Planner / Supply Chain Graduate, you’ll support the end-to-end supply chain function, helping ensure products are available at the right time, in the right place, and at the right cost.

This is an excellent role for someone who enjoys problem-solving, data analysis, and working cross-functionally.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting daily supply planning activities to maintain optimal stock levels
  • Assisting with demand forecasting and helping analyse trends and consumption data
  • Working with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely replenishment
  • Monitoring inventory levels and highlighting risks or shortages
  • Helping coordinate logistics, scheduling deliveries and resolving supply issues
  • Preparing reports and dashboards to support supply chain decisions
  • Maintaining accurate system data, purchase orders and planning records
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency
  • Collaborating with operations, procurement, and commercial teams on daily activities

What You Bring

You don’t need supply chain experience—just the motivation to learn and a proactive mindset. You may have gained transferable skills through university projects, part-time work, volunteering or extracurricular activities.

You will have:

  • A degree in any discipline (business, logistics, engineering or similar beneficial but not essential)
  • Evidence of taking initiative through societies, volunteering or leadership activities
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence working with spreadsheets or data
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • A collaborative, team-oriented approach
  • A proactive mindset with enthusiasm for learning
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy when handling data
