A major brand in Healthcare and Pharma products are now actively recruiting for a dedicated and knowledgeable Supply Chain Analyst to join their team in West Yorkshire on a full-time basis, with hybrid working available. This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal part in the overall performance of operations, combining analysis and reporting with hands-on application within Supply Chain and on-site departments. You will be responsible for weekly and monthly data preparation, KPI reporting, and inventory management.

What you'll do:

As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will be instrumental in ensuring that the day-to-day supply chain business results are achieved. Your role will involve a deep understanding of all supply chain activities, including APO/SAP planning processes, inventory management, supply issues management, and integrated planning. You will liaise with site department heads to gather required information for critical KPIs and corrective actions. Additionally, you will own the process of inventory management for the site with governance through the monthly Supply Review and MBR processes.

  • Support the Site Supply Chain Head in all aspects of day-to-day operations
  • Deep understanding of all Supply Chain activities such as APO/SAP planning processes, Inventory Management, Supply Issues Management and Integrated Planning
  • Liaise with Site department heads to gather required information for critical KPIs and corrective actions
  • Create monthly Supply Chain KPI MBR report, preparation for business reviews, analyse gaps vs target as well as define actions in cooperation with Supply Network Planners, Production Planners and Purchasers
  • Own Inventory management according to Inventory Management guidelines.
  • Analyse the processes that affect the projection of inventory value and deals with the design of parameters in the inventory level control process.
  • Initiate operational activities regarding the delivery of decisions and calculations for write-offs.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Supply Chain Analyst role will bring a wealth of experience and knowledge in supply chain management, inventory control, manufacturing, or materials management. You’ll have a minimum of 2 years of supply chain and operations experience and be experienced with SCM software (ideally APO) and ERP software (ideally SAP). Your understanding of integrated supply chain and logistics concepts and theories will be crucial to your success in this role. Additionally, your superior interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, multitasking capabilities, strong analytical skills, and exceptional attention to detail will set you apart.

  • Post-secondary education degree in pharmaceutical business, with a focus on supply chain management, inventory control, manufacturing, or materials management or a Masters and 2+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 2 years of supply chain and operations experience required
  • Experienced with Supply Chain Management (SCM) software (ideally APO), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software (ideally SAP)
  • Understanding of integrated supply chain and logistics concepts and theories (ideally MRP2 and Lean Management)
  • Hands-on experience with logistics, inventory management, and planning.
  • Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Multitasking and prioritising capabilities
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
