Supply Chain Planner

A leading food manufacturing business based in Chester with hybrid working options are looking for a Supply Chain Planner to join their team. As Supply Chain Planner you will be responsible for managing inbound supply of materials from a global supply base, ensuring production receive an uninterrupted supply of materials and ensuring inventory is kept at optimum inventory levels. Additionally, you will be responsible for some site based production planning.

About the role:

  • Generate and distribute weekly/monthly forecast reports internally and externally.
  • Run the internal S&OP cycle for materials planning.
  • Monitor supplier performance vs service level agreements.
  • Engage with a diverse supply base, manage inbound supply of materials to support production schedules.
  • Ensure inventory is kept within agreed parameters.

About the person:

  • Previous experience working within a planning role, ideally from within supply, production or materials.
  • SAP experience would be advantageous.
  • Experience working within FMCG/ food.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills.
