Supply Planner

A leading FMCG business in the Huddersfield area are looking for a Supply Planner to join their team. As Supply Planner you will be responsible for driving service levels with key customers and ensuring inventory is kept within agreed parameters.

About the role:

  • Drive the use of SAP and supply chain toolsets to deliver targeted customer service levels and desired inventory levels.
  • Execute supply planning standard work and drive standard work adherence metrics.
  • Identify opportunities and utilise continuous improvement methodologies to drive sustainable service, inventory turns, and non-working inventory improvements.
  • Coordinate activities to ensure supply for, seasonal, promotional or load ins for assigned businesses within the division.
  • Assist business group operations with capacity planning, demand and supply synchronisation, and executing against strategic business targets.
  • Communicates regularly and effectively to varying levels of the organisation regarding project execution and status.

About the person:

  • Previous experience working in a planning role as part of a supply chain team.
  • Strong supply and demand planning experience.
  • Experience working within manufacturing would be preferred.
  • SAP experience is desirable.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
