Demand Planner

A leading FMCG business based in Manchester are looking for a Demand Planner to join their team. As Demand Planner you will be responsible for the execution of a robust forecast for your given customers, working in a customer interfacing role to build collaborative relationships and drive service levels with key customers.

About the role:

  • Drive & Develop the Demand Review process with relevant stakeholders, owning the monthly collaborative forecasting process with the sales and commercial finance functions
  • Work cross functionally, both internally & externally, ensuring first class execution
  • Build collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders to drive supply chain excellence across the business
  • Manage any constrained lines and collaboratively agree with the customer & commercial to minimise overall impact
  • Evaluation of customer EPOS, stock and availability data on a weekly basis to ensure accuracy and stability of demand plan

About the person:

  • Ideally degree qualified or overseas equivalent
  • Previous experience working in a demand planning role would be preferable but those with customer supply/ customer logistics or wider supply chain experience within an FMCG industry would be considered
  • SAP experience would be desirable
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
