A global manufacturing business based in the North West are looking for a Global Demand Manager to join their team. As Global Demand Manager you will be responsible for influencing business and operational stakeholders across the business areas for growth and profitability. Responsible for the shipment and sales forecast for the business, inventory health, catalogue productivity, SIT and service. Responsible for building a bottoms up forecast using intelligence from the market, sales teams and providing a consensus Forecast consolidation to help drive monthly S&OP cycle for the business.
About the role:
Lead Demand Planning activities throughout the defined region to ensure a 2-3 year demand forecast and the DMR is operating
Key interface between Commercial teams and Supply Chain
Initiate, develop and lead projects to enhance customer satisfaction
Work closely with country and/or regional business managers as well as cluster supply chain teams both inside and outside of region to ensure undisrupted supply to customers and markets
Assist in deployment of all regional Demand Planning initiatives
Assist in deployment of the IBP process, coordinating program and resource availability, in particular driving the regional Demand Management review
Feedback business or market logistics and planning demands and requirements, and channels to both regional supply chain expert functions or Hub/Cluster Managers
Customer segmentation and replenishment models including agreeing required service levels
Leads investigations into complaints related to customer satisfaction
Work with analyst to forecast intentionally; Europe, South America and North America
About the person:
Ideally degree qualified or overseas equivalent
Deep and detailed experience overseeing demand planning functions
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
Experience working with IBP
Strong leadership skills
The ability to drive change in a positive manner
