I have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Installation Support Engineer to join a leading distribution company.
You will be required to provide first class technical support to on the product range, be able to answer queries and manage incidents according to deadlines and process incidents from start to. In addition to incident management, the role entails product investigations, new product evaluations, site auditing, technical/report writing, client and vendor meetings, sales support & internal/external training.
Key Responsibilities for the Installation Support Engineer
• Manage email queries with SLA timescales. • Manage Technical incidents from start to finish. • Carry-out site investigations. Fault-find and resolve issues. Produce detailed reports. • Testing & evaluation of returned products. • Test new products/perform product comparisons & produce detailed test reports. • Technical writing – produce professional reports, Technical Notes & White Papers.. • Perform site audits & produce professional audit reports & follow-up actions. • Site toolbox training on best practice when installing/terminating/testing copper and fibre optic products. • Continuously develop & deliver training courses as required.
Installation Support Engineer will have the following skills and experience:
• Ability to fault find and troubleshoot various products. • Ability to manage incidents from creation through to completion. • Adhere to company and department SLA’s. • Excellent technical writing ability. • Excellent knowledge of cabling infrastructure products, installation practices & testing for both copper and fibre optic systems

I am supporting a leading distribution company in sourcing a Supply Chain Planner to join into their high performing team based in Birmingham. This will be working Monday – Friday on a hybrid basis being a minimum of 2 days in the office a week.
As the Supply Chain Planner you are responsible for managing and maintaining service levels for a range of products/SKU’s by optimising stock turns, avoiding stock out’s, returning obsolete stock and measuring supplier performance
