A Leading FMCG business based in the Rochdale area are looking for a Supply Planner to join their team. This is a 12 month contract initially with the potential for further extension. As Supply Planner you will be responsible for engaging closely with suppliers to manage inbound supply and ensuring inventory is kept within agreed parameters. This business offers a hybrid working policy with the expectation to be in the office 3 days a week.
About the role:
- Look at supplier performance Vs SLAs, highlight any risk to supply issues
- Manage product forecast plan with commercial teams
- Manage inventory levels, highlight any SLOBs and ensure inventory is kept at optimum levels
- Highlight any availability issues to senior management
About the person:
- Available for a Mid/End of July start
- Previous experience within FMCG would be advantageous
- Previous planning experience would be needed but supply/ demand/ production or materials would be considered
- SAP experience would be highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills
