Job Purpose:
To manage a portfolio of finished good Items and firm production plans using AX2012 planning system, ensuring all criteria driving MRP and capacity planning are correct. Working with Customer Services, Sales, Supply Chain and Production to ensure target stock levels and stock availability are maintained to the businesses agreed levels and customer requirements. To collaborate in resolving any issues affecting stock availability.
To anticipate and respond to changes in demand through key data analysis whilst also balancing production efficiency & capacity with finished goods inventory KPIs. Ensuring Demand Planning KPI’s are achieved. Managing finished goods planning life cycle, to reduce, and negate future finished goods slow-moving and obsolete stock. Undertaking various planning related business projects as required.

To manage a portfolio of FG items, to maintain agreed stock levels, and identify risks in FG stock availability, communicate to Demand Planning Lead and all stakeholders and mitigate

To take full responsibility for planning production of allocated FG portfolio, firming and communicating production plans, and fully utilising AX planning system functionality

Working with Demand Planning Lead to identify and agree planning criteria and stock holding policies. Analysing and responding to variances in sales Vs. forecasts

To liaise closely with the supply chain dept. to ensure sufficient raw material stock is available to meet the plan and future requirements

Eliminate slow moving and obsolete FG stock and ensure through planning process and collaboration with warehousing, production, customer services and sales future slow moving / obsolete stocks are avoided

To ensure that all planning criteria and demand planning tasks in AX are frequently reviewed and updated in a timely manner
Experience Required:
- Advanced excel skills
- ERP/MRP knowledge - Desirable - System in place is AX2012
- Attention to detail
- Previous planning experience from a Manufacturing environment
My client works to a hybrid model with the expectation that the early months of the role are spent on-site to develop relationships and become more familiar with the products and business model.
