A leading FMCG business based in Ross-on-Wye are looking for a Supply Planner to join their busy team. As Supply Planner you will be responsible for ensuring supply plans are aligned with customer demand, supplier agreements and kept within agreed inventory parameters. This is a fast paced, cross functional role and requires someone with excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
About the role:
- Assist in the development of the Master Production Schedule and use this as a basis to plan short, medium and long-term planning horizon
- Engage with 3PL and warehouse teams to ensure stock accuracy
- Monitor supplier performance Vs. SLAs. Highlight any issues around supply risk to senior management
- Cover for planning team when necessary
About the person:
- Ideally degree qualified or overseas equivalent
- Previous experience working within a planning/ purchasing role, ideally from within FMCG but other industries will be considered
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
