A global blue chip organisation are looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to join their team for an initial 1 year contract. As Supply Chain Specialist you will sit within the clinical trials function of the business and be responsible for translating clinical protocols into actionable development and study supply plans, managing work streams with key service providers and working with internal cross-functional departments and vendors for on-time deliveries of clinical supplies.
About the role:
Project manage the delivery of clinical supplies effectively and consistently, inputting to balance of cost and risk to supply.
Run project meetings, ensuring expert input and support from cross functional groups.
Influence key decision making on supply and study set up.
Ensure effective communication within project teams and with key stakeholders.
Support risk management of individual studies during the planning phase, with proactive mitigation of risks threatening quality or delivery of supplies.
Escalate significant issues appropriate.
About the person:
- Experience working within a complex, global supply chain team
- Experience within demand planning/ forecasting
- Ideally degree qualified or overseas equivalent
- Ideally an awareness of GMP
- SAP experience would be advantageous
