This is a key role responsible for managing the full procurement lifecycle - ensuring the effective acquisition of goods and services while driving value for money and compliance.

Liverpool| £35,000–£44,000 + Benefits | Permanent, Full-Time

An established professional services organisation is seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to join its collaborative finance team. This is a key role responsible for managing the full procurement lifecycle - ensuring the effective acquisition of goods and services while driving value for money and compliance.

The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you’ll lead and support a range of procurement activities from tendering and contract negotiation to supplier management and post-award evaluation. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure best practice, compliance with financial regulations, and delivery of demonstrable value.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and deliver a variety of procurement projects from planning through to contract management.

Advise departments on procurement strategy, ensuring compliance and high levels of assurance.

Negotiate and manage supplier relationships to achieve cost, efficiency, and quality targets.

Support the development and implementation of procurement strategies and reporting.

Monitor and drive contract performance and value for money outcomes.

About You:

CIPS qualified or working towards (minimum Level 3 for entry level; Level 4+ for senior).

Strong track record in procurement, ideally within public or professional services.

Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

Detail-oriented, ethical, and proactive in driving continuous improvement.
