Interim Procurement Category Manager (Marketing & Digital)

I'm supporting an FMCG client, looking for a Procurement Category Manager - Marketing & Digital on an interim basis for the next 6 months. This opportunity has potential to be extended and/or made permanent.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a category plan
  • Ensure that Category plans and implementation are aligned with business goals
  • Develop and manage a category risk plan
  • Actively set, lead and drive the timeline for sourcing initiatives
  • Lead contract negotiations and develop negotiation plans
  • Develop innovative solutions by challenging business requirements
  • Input to the procurement strategy, governance and policy improvement plans

Skills & Experience:

  • MCIPS or equivalent experience
  • Category management and strategy experience within Marketing
  • FMCG industry experience
  • Experienced negotiator
  • Contract and supplier relationship management expertise

This role has a day rate of £650 - £750pd based on experience - hybrid / London - Ideally starting in March
