An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic team in the life science sector. This role is designed to replace a team member who has recently been promoted, demonstrating the growth opportunities within the organisation. The successful candidate will be working on-site with one of our key clients, offering an immersive and hands-on experience in the industry. This role offers the possibility of some hybrid working arrangements.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in managing all commercial aspects of construction projects. You will be responsible for forecasting the financial parameters and constraints of each project, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to liaise effectively with stakeholders, keeping them informed about project progress. Your leadership abilities will shine as you manage and mentor other quantity surveying team members. Additionally, your commitment to safety will ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role brings extensive experience from the construction or related industries, specifically pertaining to Mechanical works. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to liaise effectively with various stakeholders, while your strong leadership abilities will allow you to manage and mentor other team members successfully. Your proven ability to negotiate contracts effectively will be crucial in this role, as well as your unwavering commitment to adhering to health and safety regulations.
