We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Procurement Manager (Indirects) to oversee procurement operations on behalf of our Pharmaceutical client. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring that purchasing activities align with the company’s goals for quality, cost, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with overall business objectives.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to drive performance and innovation.
- Analyse market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement activities meet operational needs.
- Lead and mentor the procurement team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
- Prepare and present procurement reports and strategies to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of managing supplier relationships and achieving cost savings.
- Strong Indirects category experience
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, analytics platforms).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
