Buyer - Software

Our client is seeking an experienced Software Buyer to join their dynamic procurement team. The successful candidate will have the chance to work on an international scale, handling all aspects of IT and software spend across the Group. This includes Software, SaaS and Software Services, Engineering & Manufacturing Software. If you're looking for a role that offers professional challenges and opportunities for growth, this could be the perfect fit for you.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for the Category Managers in the UK and Europe by handling software procurement in the UK and across the group.
  • Work in partnership with internal collaborators to handle procurement and competitions for software and services.
  • Champion the right relationships with partners and suppliers.
  • Deliver the right procurement outcomes.
  • Handle renewals and negotiations of existing software.


Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in an IT Procurement/Buying role
  • Understanding of software and software procurement.
  • Excellent soft skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues and partners.
  • Capability to work with multifunctional teams remotely or in person.
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
