You will assist or conduct sourcing events for smaller spend categories, ensure all purchasing requisitions are submitted in line with corporate and procedures, and complete reports monthly financial results and help address supplier performance issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Persuades and influences internal customers to comply with purchasing policy, procedures and guidelines.
- Provides spend analysis reports.
- Address and resolve escalated quality issues and supplier disputes.
- Owns and sets category strategy, direction, and recommendation for smaller spend pools; directly responsible for supplier engagement and management, supplier strategic and tactical decisions and defining productivity plans.
- Target suppliers for AP improvements.
About you:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 1-2 years of direct or related experience in purchasing.
- Experience using Excel, Pivot Tables, Vlookup.
