A well known National Broadcaster is currently seeking a Procurement Manager-Technology to join their growing team. Procurement within this business is well received and working on a proactive approach. You will be experienced across all areas of Technology spend, with experience working on a strategic level whilst managing demanding stakeholders.

A leading National Broadcaster is currently seeking a Procurement Manager-Technology who will report into the Senior Procurement Manager Technology to support and deliver on their IT category plans. You will have a proven track record across tech categories and will have experience on a strategic level whilst having strong influential/ negotiation stakeholder management competencies.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop appropriate sourcing strategy
• Pro-actively develop sourcing initiatives to meet annual budget and business plans
• Actively manage and develop key strategies for supplier and contract management including negotiations and tendering
• Ensure internal requirements are met through compliance of the contracts
• Ensure appropriate controls and supplier performance are in place
• To act as the Commercial manager and Relationship Manager where required
• To assist in strategic licensing reviews and assist IT in monitoring compliance
• Build a catalogue of all existing Provider Services contracts and ensure services comply with new processes and procedures
• Identify areas where new processes could be introduced as well as cost saving opportunities

Key requirements:

• CIPS qualification would be advantageous
• Significant experience in Technology categories
• 3-5 years’ experience in an Tech Sourcing role
• Strong category management experience and experience of working within a variety of categories
• Proven interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills to provide solutions and win-win scenarios
• Numeric with an understanding of financial reporting tools
• Strong written and presentation skills
• Able to develop good working relationships with external and internal stakeholders
• Results-driven with strong organisational skills to meet strict deadlines
