An excellent opportunity has arisen for my ambitious SME who have double their order book in recent months. They are looking for a Purchasing Assistant based at thir main site in Bolton and would suit some with a logical mindset and good excel skills who wants to develop a career in procurement

Duties to include:

Chasing supplier to send proper commercial invoices after delivery

Participation in the documentation flow - Commercial invoices to be done just after delivery, to make sure that finance team will receive all necessary information on time

Participation in the quality aspects – creating delivery or return notes for supplier

Participation in delivery schedule synchronization

Creating of purchase orders for production and for samples /design team ensuring accurate Lead times ensuring information is communicated to production.

Skills/experience required

Logical mindset

Knowledge of MRP

Good excel skills
